I don’t have any particular type for summer reads.
Usually I save big books for the summer, but I also enjoy comedies and light YAs.
Sarah Dessen’s books are perfect for the summer, but I also love reading them in other seasons because they feel like summer 🙂

Some sort of light romance type read is perfect for summer. Nothing too sad or scary or that requires any thought. I just want to chill and enjoy a good happy ending story 🙂 And I haven’t read any of Sarah Dessen’s books yet 😮 but I keep hearing good things so they’re definitely on my list!

I’ve always figured a summer read is one you could take on vacation. Something light and fun to read and not have to think too much about! But it’s different for everyone!

I live in Florida where the 3 seasons are Hot, Really Hot and Hella Hot — so it all depends on what’s releasing…this Summer it’s Wasteland King by Lilith Saintcrow, Paper and Fire by Rachel Caine and The Curse of Tenth Grave by Darynda Jones.
